ongoing story. ... HC Gary Kubiak said at his weekly news conference today that Johnson is “fine” but remains a day-to-day issue as far his leg injury is concerned. “The X-rays were (negative),” Kubiak said. “He’ll be okay.”

Johnson got kicked in the shin during the Texans’ 30-9 loss at Baltimore. He tried to play but couldn’t help limping and was sent to the bench in the fourth quarter. He finished with five catches for 36 yards. The Texans couldn’t move the ball with or without Johnson, who has 25 catches for 258 yards in three games.
