The Facts:
Following up on the
ongoing story. ... According to Rich Cimini of ESPNNewYork.com, the injury to Ivory is the same hamstring he struggled with in the preseason. Due to the time needed for Ivory to return from the initial injury, the Jets aren’t expecting Ivory to get back quickly from this injury.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Ivory, who was hurt in Sunday's game against the Bills, dealt with a hamstring strain in training camp that kept him out several weeks before being able to step onto the practice field for the first time. As PFT's Curtis Crabtree notes, with Mike Goodson suspended for another week still, the injury leaves the Jets somewhat short-handed at running back with only Bilal Powell and Alex Green on their active roster. Powell had the best game of his career against the Bills with 149 yards on 27 carries.
