Josh Freeman Will Remain The Starter
(9/23 11:30 PT)

The Facts:
Schiano was asked on several occasions about the play of Freeman. With the QB situation still a question mark, Schiano is not thinking about changing his signal caller anytime soon. He also pointed that there is plenty of blame to go around on the offense. “Josh is our starter, that’s where we are,” Schiano said. “He’s done some good things and he’s done some things that he’d like to change and that we’d like to change. It’s the whole offensive unit, we need to be more precise, we need to coach more precisely, its’ everybody involved.  Reported by PewterReport.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
In Sunday’s loss to New England, Freeman completed 13 of 32 passes (40.6 percent) against four or fewer pass-rushers. Through three games, Freeman has completed a league-worst 40.7 percent of his passes in those situations. According to ESPN.com, since the start of the 2006 season, which is as far back as current tracking data exists, the lowest completion percentage by a quarterback against four or fewer pass-rushers for a full season was 51 percent by JaMarcus Russell in 2009. When you are mentioned in the same sentence as Russell, it's time to worry about your job.
