Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Coach Greg Schiano said Sunday he never thought about replacing Freeman, but apparently he reconsidered. As PFT suggests, Freeman’s own play through three games was enough to justify the move (45.7 percent completions, more interceptions than touchdowns, 59.3 rating, 0-3 record), but this one has much bigger repercussions. For a quarterback who could have played his way into a big contract, Freeman’s now forced to watch a third-round rookie take over, and ponder the market opportunity he just squandered.
