The Facts:
The Lions re-signed Drummond, an unrestricted free agent -- who as one of the league's top all-around return specialists was being pursued by other teams. Drummond, 25, signed a five-year, $6 million contract that included a $2 million signing bonus. It is believed the contract makes Drummond the NFL's highest-paid return men.

Although injuries have limited Drummond to 23 appearances the last two years but, he is healthy, he can be the kind of player who provides the Lions terrific field position. His best season came in 2004, when Drummond scored four times, twice each on kickoff and punt returns.
