Stacy rushed for 78 yards on 14 carries today in the Rams 34-20 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Stacy left the game with what was termed a "rib injury." Stacy told Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com after game he feels fine. He said wind got knocked out of him. He says he'll be OK moving forward.

Indeed, he might be better than fine. Wagoner believes Stacy all but locked down the starting job going forward. Unlike the other backs on the roster, Stacy brings a more powerful running style that had been missing in the first four weeks. The Rams were 30th in the league in yards after contact going into Sunday's game with an average of 1.15 yards after contact per rush. Those who stashed Stacy on their rosters hoping for an emergence might just get that wish.
