No Update On Steven Jackson But Snelling Could Return
(10/14 4:12 PT)

The Facts:
HC Mike Smith said running back Jason Snelling, who sustained a concussion in the last game, looks to be on track to return this week. Smith did not provide an update on the status of running back Steven Jackson, who has been sidelined since Week 2 with a hamstring injury. There is a belief Jackson could return to practice this week, but nothing is certain.  Reported by ESPN.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Snelling was injured in the Falcons' 30-28 loss to the Jets, Oct. 7. He played 20 offensive snaps and scored on a 4-yard shovel pass from Matt Ryan before exiting. The Falcons need a full complement of running backs to help shoulder the offensive load with top receiver Julio Jones (foot) now out for the season. The status of receiver Roddy White coming off a hamstring injury also remains unknown. White also was injured against the Jets. He had been recovering from a high ankle sprain before the hamstring injury.
