injury suffered by Jay Cutler on Sunday, but the Bears are reportedly already moving to shore up their depth chart. Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the Bears will bring back Palmer in the wake of Cutler's injury.

Palmer spent a couple of weeks with the team this summer after Matt Blanchard, the expected third-string quarterback, was injured. The younger brother of Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer played in four games over three years as his brother's backup in Cincinnati. The younger Palmer also spent time with the Jaguars last season. Josh McCown played well in relief of Cutler on Sunday. If the injury to Cutler is a bad one, Palmer will be in position to provide relief in the coming weeks.
