49ers Sign WR Bryan Gilmore
(3/14 4:16 PT)

The Facts:
Gilmore, signed as an unrestricted free agent on Tuesday, is a six-year NFL veteran who played for the Cardinals and the Dolphins. He has played in 55 games with 13 starts and has caught 38 passes for 533 yards and four touchdowns.  Reported by SF49ers.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Gilmore is reunited with 49ers receivers coach Jerry Sullivan, who coached Gilmore in Arizona (2001-03) and in Miami in 2004. Their relationship was a factor in his signing. "Sullivan has a history with Bryan," said Mike Nolan. "He feels he is a young receiver with a huge upside. He is a big, strong receiver with speed who is physical and will contribute. ..." Gilmore will compete for playing time behind likely starters Antonio Bryant and Arnaz Battle.
