Briggs, who suffered the injury in Sunday's loss to the Washington Redskins, will not need surgery and will return this season, the source told Schefter. Briggs, 32, has a team-leading 64 tackles and two sacks through seven games this season. A seven-time Pro Bowler, Briggs recorded at least 100 tackles in eight of his first 10 seasons in the NFL.
