It's Official: Nick Foles Concussed
(10/21 2:35 PT)

The Facts:
Following up on the ongoing story. ... The Eagles don’t know who will be taking the reps at quarterback with the first team at Tuesday’s practice, but it won’t be Foles. HC Chip Kelly announced Monday that Foles did suffer a concussion in Sunday’s loss to the Cowboys, which Foles had to leave early because of a head injury. He’ll have to go through the concussion protocol before he’s cleared to practice or play in a game, something that the team won’t know until later in the week. Reported by Profootballtalk.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Kelly said that Michael Vick, out the last two weeks with a hamstring injury, worked out before the game and felt like he was moving in the right direction. Kelly cautioned that Vick won’t suddenly get healthier because the team lost Foles. “It’s all based on what his health is. We’ve listened to Mike the whole time and we’ll continue to listen to Mike,” Kelly said, via Philly.com. “Just cause one guy got hurt that doesn’t make another guy get healthy quicker. ..." Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer reported Monday that Vick’s not yet 100 percent and that the Eagles won’t get a sense of how close he is until Wednesday, but that the expectation is that Vick will make his return to the lineup even if he falls short of a complete return to health.
