ongoing story. ... During his Monday press conference, HC Mike McCarthy confirmed that Finley remains in the hospital after suffering a neck injury in Sunday’s game against the Browns and that doctors are still doing tests to learn more about what McCarthy called a “significant” injury.

McCarthy said there’s not enough information about the injury at the moment to start thinking about anything having to do with football. Earlier on Monday, Tom Pelissero of USA Today reported that the Packers expect it to be weeks before they’ll know enough to talk about when Finley might be back in the lineup. McCarthy did have some positive news to pass along about how Finley’s doing in terms of his recovery right now. “He’s up and performing daily activities and he’s in good spirits,” McCarthy said, via Jason Wilde of ESPNWisconsin.com. ... Again, the overriding news -- Finley isn't in immediate danger and is improving -- is good; but the fantasy slant is not.
