previous item. ... Mike Shanahan told reporters after today's loss to the Broncos that Griffin is okay. The doctors cleared him to go back into the game but Shanahan held him out based on the score.

Dr. James Andrews also told NFL Network's Omar Ruiz that RGIII is "OK." The QB was removed from the game as a precaution, Ruiz reported. Griffin remained on the Redskins’ sideline in the final minutes of Denver’s 45-21 victory and didn't appear to be worse for the wear as he watched Kirk Cousins finish the game. We'll go ahead and assume all will be well until further notice. It's safe to assume we'll pass along any pertinent details as they come to our attention.
