The Facts:
The Patriots had a miserable first half offensively on Sunday and trailed the Dolphins 17-3 at the half after gaining just 25 yards. Making matters worse was apparent swelling on Brady’s right hand, which had been the source of interest since he was seen with a couple of fingers taped together on Saturday. Brady looked much better as the Patriots rolled up 24 points in the second half to win the game 27-17 and he said after the game that his hand felt “perfect” and “awesome” while questioning whether there was any swelling at all.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
“I didn’t know anyone knows what the back of my right hand looks like, but it looks fine to me and it feels good,” Brady said. “I’ll be out there next week; you don’t have to worry about that. ..." As PFT suggests, it has been a grind for the Patriots offensively all season, but they’re still 6-2 and have to be encouraged by what their defense is doing on a weekly basis. They’ve got a healthy lead over the Dolphins and Bills with the Jets looking like they’re on their way to a loss in Cincinnati, which is a scenario that gives them some time to work out the kinks without risking their standing in the AFC East. But they need Brady to play better.
