The Texans have announced that Keenum will be their starting QB going forward, replacing Matt Schaub.

While Schaub returned to practice after being inactive for Houston's 17-16 loss to Kansas City, he will be the backup heading into the Texans' next game. HC Gary Kubiak made the announcement at Monday's press conference after practice. "Matt's health is fine," Kubiak said. "It's a decision based on what I saw take place last week with Case." Keenum was 15-of-25 for 271 yards and one touchdown and a passer rating of 110.6 against the Chiefs.
