The Facts:
Following up on the
ongoing story. ... HC Gary Kubiak collapsed and was taken off the field on a stretcher at halftime of Sunday night's contest against the Colts. Kubiak, 52, was taken to a local hospital. He underwent what the team described as a "battery of tests" after being admitted overnight. He will remain with medical personnel for at least the next 24 hours, the team announced.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
"Our primary concern is of course with Gary's health and well-being," Texans general manager Rick Smith said in a statement. "...Gary is alert, coherent and in good spirits. He is continuing to be evaluated and monitored. ..." Kubiak never lost consciousness and did not suffer a heart attack, the team maintained. According to the team, Kubiak experienced dizziness and a light-headed feeling, causing him to stop and kneel down as he was on his way off the sidelines for halftime. DC Wade Phillips took over for Kubiak in the second half and will presumably continue to handle the coaching duties while Kubiak recovers.
