Manning will have an MRI Monday after being hit in the right knee area late in Sunday’s win vs. San Diego, he told the media after the game, according to the Broncos’ official Twitter feed. “I’m pretty sore. They kind of got me twice in that lower area…get an MRI tomorrow and will know more then,” Manning said, according to the Broncos.

As ESPN.com's Mike Sando suggested, Manning was not exactly inspiring confidence health-wise with his demeanor at postgame news conference. ...Manning was limping heavily after being hit low by Chargers defensive lineman Corey Liuget late in Sunday’s contest but he stayed in the game. Manning appeared to be hit in the right knee area on a pass completion to Demaryius Thomas in the final two minutes of the game. Manning has been listed on the injury report with an ankle ailment before each of Denver’s last two games. Needless to say, we'll have a close eye on this one.
