Although previous reports suggested the veteran halfback will practice this week, Post staffer Mike Klis advised readers Moreno "will be questionable at best" to play Sunday at Kansas City. Then what? After Moreno, the Broncos have a trust issue. Montee Ball, a rookie, has lost two fumbles in 72 carries, and Ronnie Hillman has two fumbles in 40 attempts. Moreno has one fumble in 187 rushes. Another rookie, C.J. Anderson, has just seven NFL carries and he fumbled an exchange with Peyton Manning in overtime during the Broncos’ 34-31 loss Sunday night to New England. The Broncos can’t bench them all. With Moreno gimpy, the Broncos may have little choice but to put some trust in their young running backs this week. ... Stay tuned. More in coming days.
