The Facts:
Carlson left Sunday's game against the Ravens in the third quarter and did not return to the game. At his Monday press conference, HC Leslie Frazier announced Carlson suffered a concussion and that Kyle Rudolph is being placed on IR.

Rudolph suffered a broken foot earlier this season and hasn't healed sufficiently to be in the mix for a role down the stretch. Carlson will have to go through the league's concussion protocol before he's cleared to play again -- a process that will take up most of this week.
