The Facts:
Austin suffered an ankle injury after a 56-yard run against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. In the immediate aftermath of the game, Rams coach Jeff Fisher said Austin's ankle would require a closer look upon return to St. Louis. On Monday afternoon, Fisher provided something of an update on Austin's status. "We did our tests and he'll be day-to-day this week," Fisher said.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Austin stayed down for a few moments after the run, and it initially looked as though it could be something serious. But Austin walked off on his own power and actually returned to the game soon after for a punt return. Moments after that, though, the Rams removed Austin from the game and announced that he would not return. ... Still, ESPN.com's Nick Wagoner believe's Fisher's comments suggest Austin's injury isn't too serious. He normally doesn't provide much detail when it comes to injuries, unless it's something that's going to last for extended time. That said, we'll be following up.
