No Updates On Victor Cruz, But Don't Get Your Hopes Up
(12/15 11:5 PT)

The Facts:
Cruz suffered a concussion and a sprained knee in the third quarter of Sunday's 23-0 loss to Seattle and did not return. HC Tom Coughlin did not have an update on Cruz after the game. "I haven't been into the medical room. I haven't looked at that play, but the kid went up and made a heck of an effort and came down on the side of his helmet," Coughlin said. "I know he came down on the side of his head, so we'll see." Reported by ESPN.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
As ESPN.com's Dan Graziano suggests, with just two games left in the season and the Giants out of playoff contention, there's a possibility Cruz might have played his final snap of the season. He'll have to go through the concussion protocol. In what's been an abysmal season on offense for the Giants, Cruz has been the team's steadiest performer. He has 73 catches for 998 yards and four touchdowns. If Cruz has to miss the last two games, he'd finish 2 yards short of his third straight 1,000-yard season. ... Stay tuned. More to come.
