The Facts:
McGloin had the worst game of his fledgling NFL career on Sunday against Kansas City. The undrafted rookie threw four interceptions and was involved in a bumbled snap eventually lost. His decision-making was suspect. He was often reckless with the football and his mistakes played a huge part in an embarrassing 56-31 result. Despite being pulled, HC Dennis Allen said McGloin start again next week against the San Diego Chargers. Odds are great he’ll also start the season finale against Denver.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
“It’s tough when a quarterback is going through a learning process,” Allen said. “As the losses mount up, it gets frustrating. It’s frustrating for everybody.” Terrelle Pryor filled in at different times – once near the goal line, again in the third quarter and after McGloin’s fourth pick – as a planned change of pace. Pryor wasn’t much better, and threw an interception in four attempts. He competed one pass for 12 yards and had 19 rushing yards on three carries. Allen has hitched his wagon to McGloin down the stretch, and they’ll need better quarterback play to avoid a 4-12 fate. If they don’t win again, Allen’s job could be in jeopardy.
