Following up on an ongoing story. ... Fitzgerald suffered a concussion while trying to field an onside kick in the final minute of regulation of Sunday’s overtime victory over the Titans, leading coach Bruce Arians to say that the team will have to “wait and see” how the receiver progresses this week. It’s early, but the initial signs are good. Larry Fitzgerald Sr. sent out a tweet on Monday saying that his son is “going to be okay” and that he “feels good” less than a day after suffering the injury.

The elder Fitzgerald also said that his son passed concussion tests, but he’ll have to pass more of them this week in order to get the green light to play in Seattle next weekend. While it is a bit premature to feel totally confident that Fitzgerald, it’s certainly more encouraging news to pass along than some of the alternatives. ... Stay tuned.
