The Facts:
Reed continued to suffer from a headache Monday, nearly a month after suffering a concussion, according to HC Mike Shanahan. “We brought him in on Saturday and he still had a headache [and] had one today as well,” Shanahan said. “So we’ll take a look at him each day. He’ll go through the protocol for a concussion and hopefully one day he’ll wake up and say, ‘Hey, I feel good. I’m ready to go.’”

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Reed has missed the Redskins’ past four games since suffering a concussion during a Nov. 17 loss at Philadelphia. He remains subject to the NFL’s procedures for treating players who suffer concussions and must be cleared by an independent neurologist to practice and play. Shanahan said Monday that Reed has been evaluated by specialists. Last week, Shanahan said there had been no decision made to withhold Reed from all of the team’s remaining games. The Redskins have only two games left, at home Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys and Dec. 29 against the New York Giants on the road.
