Following up on the previous item. ... The Saints elected to cut bait with kicker Garrett Hartley on Tuesday. Now they have his replacement. According to Mike Garafolo of FOXSports.com, the Saints will sign Graham to replace Hartley, who was placed on waivers after missing two field goals Sunday against the St. Louis Rams. Reported by Profootballtalk.com

Graham returns to the team he began his NFL career with in 2000. Graham was signed by the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of Virginia Tech. Graham bounced around after being released by New Orleans to Seattle, Buffalo and Carolina before finally landing a full-time job with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2003. Graham spent last season with the Houston Texans and converted 31 of 38 field goals on the season. He was with the Cleveland Browns in training camp and spent a week with the Pittsburgh Steelers in September but hasn’t attempted a kick this season.
