On Monday, HC Pete Carroll said that an update regarding receiver y Harvin will be coming on Wednesday. Whatever the update is, don’t expect to see him before the postseason.

So wrote PFT's Mike Florio, who went on to note that Harvin, who has played in one game this year and has missed three since then due to an ongoing hip problem, hasn’t practiced in recent weeks. Carroll has said that Harvin will be week-to-week until he can practice, at which point he’ll become day-to-day. Regardless, the Seahawks regard Harvin as a long-term, year-to-year asset. While he hasn’t paid dividends yet, the Seahawks have been better than fine without him. If he can contribute in the postseason, it’ll be an added benefit. But for now, fantasy owners shouldn't be waiting for his return in time for their championship weekend.
