The former Tampa Bay QB visits the Bengals today, agent Ralph Cindrich said Thursday night. Griese then will go to Chicago.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, if he signs with the Bears, Griese would begin as the No. 2 QB behind Rex Grossman but eventually might push him for the starting job. The Bengals need could be more immediate with Carson Palmer recovering from a knee injury and Jon Kitna signing with the Lions. The Ravens and Vikings -- as well as the Bucs -- also are believed to be suitors for Griese, who is coming off a torn ACL and MCL of his own.
