Mathews practiced for the first time this week on Friday and has been listed as probable for the team’s playoff tilt with the Bengals.

Mathews has been sidelined by an ankle injury this week, but it would seem that the team was merely managing his workload with the goal of having him in the lineup on Sunday. It appears they’ve accomplished that mission and will have Mathews on the field to continue his strong season. WR Eddie Royal did not practice at all this week and is listed as questionable because of a toe injury. As PFT points out, Royal hasn’t practiced much in recent weeks, but has been on the field come gameday so it’s probably a good bet he’ll be in the lineup as well.
