The Facts:
Harvin practiced Friday for the second consecutive day during the Seahawks’ playoff bye week on Friday, and did a lot more than he had Thursday. It was a positive step for the team, and especially Harvin, as far as his availability for next Saturday’s divisional playoff game. "He really did fine,” HC Pete Carroll said of Harvin, who had hip surgery Aug. 1 and has played in only one game this season. “He looked (good), and I think he felt pretty good about it.”

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
According to Seahawks.com staffer Clare Farnsworth, Harvin took part in just about every phase of Friday’s sun-drenched practice. He looked fluid and explosive while catching one pass in the first full-team session and then got behind the defense to catch a long pass from quarterback Russell Wilson in a 7-on-7 drill. “He’s still got a little governor on what he’s doing here, which is the right thing to do,” Carroll said. “We’ll come back next week and get after it, and just go one day at a time. I expect that he’s going to be able to make some progress.” Harvin already has made ample progress just being able to practice on back-to-back days. “He’s very encouraged, and we’re excited for him,” Carroll said. Harvin’s status remains day-to-day and, as always, will be impacted by how practicing one day leaves his hip feeling the next day. Stay tuned. More to come.
