The Facts:
Harrington's desire to leave Detroit apparently was so strong, several people close to the situation believe he sabotaged his appearance at last week's "quarterback school" with new OC Mike Martz by putting forth minimal effort -- even refusing to take part in some activities. He was lethargic and uncooperative. According to sources, it was quickly apparent to Martz that Harrington had no desire to be there.

After he and Martz had words, Harrington met with team officials and told them he didn't wanted out. Harrington was so reportedly so determined to leave he offered to restructure his contract in any way that would quicken his release. ...
