Dobson's injured left foot is making progress, but he wouldn't definitively say he's ready for action in Sunday's AFC Championship Game. “I don't really know what my situation is going to be this weekend, but I'll go out there today, see how it feels, and go from there,” he said Friday before the team's morning practice.

According to ESPN.com's Mike Reiss, Dobson had a travel bag at his locker, which could be viewed as a sign that he will be making the trip. But there have been cases in the past when players have travel bags at their lockers and ultimately remain home. The Patriots are leaving for Denver later on Friday. Dobson, who injured the foot in the season finale Dec. 29 and didn't play in the divisional round of the playoffs, has been limited in practices all week -- including Friday. We'll know more about his status when the team's final injury report is released later today.
