Carroll: Percy Harvin Will Practice This Week
(1/20 7:12 PT)

The Facts:
Following up on the ongoing story. ... HC Pete Carroll said Monday he expects Harvin to practice this week and play in the Super Bowl on Feb. 2 against the Denver Broncos. "We practice on Wednesday and there's a very good chance he will practice, based on how he was over the weekend," Carroll said of Harvin. "He was in pretty good shape on the weekend. He still has to go through a couple of clearances, but we're kind of counting on him to be ready. I think he should be, but what do I know? I have to check with the doctors. But [Harvin returning] is kind of what I'm hoping." Reported by ESPN.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Harvin suffered a concussion in the divisional playoff game against New Orleans on Jan. 11 and didn't make it through the mandatory concussion protocol in time to play in the NFC Championship Game on Sunday against San Francisco. Harvin had hip surgery on Aug. 1 and played in only one regular season game -- Nov. 17 against his former Minnesota Vikings teammates. But he aggravated his surgically-repaired hip and didn't play again until the playoff game against the Saints. He suffered a concussion late in the first half and left the game.
