Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area reported Tuesday that Gore will undergo "minor finger surgery" after rushing for just 14 yards on 11 attempts against Seattle's top-ranked defense.  Reported by NFL.com

Gore lost carries to a combination of Kendall Hunter, Anthony Dixon and LaMichael James, who teamed for a whopping 17 yards off six totes. Despite's Colin Kaepernick's success on the ground, San Francisco struggled down the stretch without Gore blasting away at Seattle as he did one week earlier against the Carolina Panthers. The only upside for the 49ers? Gore has plenty of time to heal.
