Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Romo underwent a discectomy on a herniated disc that bothered him in the Week 16 game at Washington. Romo finished the game in pain but was unable to play in the regular-season finale against Philadelphia the next week. Jones said Romo's weight -- he was about 236 pounds during the 2013 season -- is down which is a good sign toward his return to the field. Jones didn't have an exact date as to when Romo would begin on-the-field activities again. Team officials have said Romo should be ready at some point for the organized team activities. "But there is plenty of [time] if you look ahead of our schedule and what we're going to require in the offseason, there is no concern for Tony," Jones said. ... We'll follow up as needed.
