(1/27 1:24 PT)

The Facts:
Former Houston Texans coach Gary Kubiak will be announced as the Ravens' new offensive coordinator Monday afternoon, according to league sources. Reported by the Baltimore Sun

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The Ravens met with Kubiak on Sunday as well as former Texans offensive coordinator Rick Dennison. The team is plotting a strategy to bolster the NFL's 29th-ranked offense. It's a big move for the Ravens, who have also considered receivers coach Jim Hostler for the job. Former Washington Redskins and Texans offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan, another finalist for the offensive coordinator job, is also under consideration for a position on the coaching staff. He could be the quarterbacks coach. Kubiak, 52, has spent parts of the past eight seasons as the Houston Texans’ head coach. However, he was fired in early December with the Texans sitting with a 2-11 record. Kubiak has offensive coordinator experience, serving in that role with the Denver Broncos (2003-05). He was the Broncos’ quarterback coach from 1995 to 2002 and also spent one seasons as the San Francisco 49ers quarterback coach (1994).
