Bucs, Jets Both Interested In Michael Vick?
(2/3 9:20 PT)

The Facts:
Vick is expected to test the free agent market, and there may be a couple of suitors already. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter the New York Jets and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are likely to have "some level of interest" in the veteran quarterback. Reported by the Redzone.org

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The Jets have been mentioned as a possible suitor before -- a move that makes sense given given his ties to offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg. The Jets drafted Geno Smith in the second round last year and made him the 2013 starter, but he struggled badly, throwing 21 interceptions to just 12 touchdowns. The Bucs had another rookie quarterback play in 2013, but he seemed to fare much better. Mike Glennon did fine for himself in a dysfunctional locker room, completing 59.4 percent of his passes for 2,608 yards, 19 touchdowns and nine interceptions in 13 games. However, he has a new coaching staff in place, and there's a chance Lovie Smith will want to bring in his guy. Like the Jets, the Bucs are also expected to bring in competition for Glennon. ... Vick is a player worth watching in coming months.
