The Browns have agreed to terms on a three-year deal with Dinkins. The deal is worth $2.1 million with a $200,000 signing bonus and includes incentives that could increase its value.

Dinkins, 29, was a backup tight end and special teams standout for the Ravens. He caught six passes for 55 yards in 2005. Dinkins will be a blocking tight end and special-teamer for the Browns. They also might talk again with the agent for Giants free-agent receiver Tim Carter, who will visit Tampa Bay on Monday and Tuesday.
