Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Maclin still is rehabbing the torn ACL he suffered in late July. The receiver acknowledged that his knee won't be fully healthy when free agency launches on March 11, but said he'll be full-go for training camp. Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reported last week that
the Jets view Maclin as a "quality No. 1 receiver," but the Eagles and the pass-catcher have expressed mutual interest in a new deal. The Kansas City Star also expects the Chiefs to come after Maclin, who said last month that he's open to a one-year deal. Faced with decisions to make on Riley Cooper (
who will also be a free agent) and Maclin, Eagles general manager Howie Roseman said this month that "it's a complicated situation, but we've never ruled out bringing both of those guys back. ..." We'll be watching for more.
