The Facts:
A
report recently emerged that the 49ers and Boldin have commenced negotiations on a new contract. However, a source with knowledge of the situation tells PFT that no talks have happened yet between the team and the wideout who arrived last year from Baltimore for a low-round pick and a $6 million salary.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Not a big deal. PFT's Mike Florio reports that his source say communications are expected to commence at the Scouting Combine, where every team and every agent will be in Indianapolis at the same time, and where plenty of contract talks will occur. As
previously noted, the 49ers intend to prioritize Boldin, QB Colin Kaepernick, and HC Jim Harbaugh for new deals this year. Boldin necessarily is the top priority, because he's due to hit the open market.
