The Facts:
The Broncos have a decision to make soon on Welker, who is due a $3 million bonus if he's still on the roster in March. But when HC John Fox was asked that question at the Scouting Combine, he indicated that he doesn't think there's a tough decision to make at all: He expects Welker to remain in Denver for the second year of the two-year contract he signed in 2013. "Wes Welker is under contract, so I don't think it's a tremendous decision," Fox said.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
As PFT's Michael David Smith suggests, considering Welker will turn 33 in May, is coming off a season in which he had two concussions, and didn't have quite the same level of production in his first season in Denver as he had in his previous six seasons in New England, the questions about whether the Broncos will pay Welker that bonus, or release him aren't without merit. Nor is it any surprise that Fox won't acknowledge that. In the end, with Eric Denver
expected to leave Denver in free agency, keeping Welker to work alongside Demaryius Thomas and Julius Thomas, Peyton Manning will have three of his top four targets back this year.
