The Dolphins signed Peelle, formerly with the Chargers, to server as their new backup tight end. He received a three-year deal.

Used primarily as a blocker in San Diego, the 6-4, 255-pound Peelle had 11 catches for 38 yards in 2005. At this point, it's safe to assume he'll play a similar role in Miami.
