The Facts:
It appears that most, if not all, of the Colts players who missed extensive playing time last season should be back for the start of training camp. Wayne (knee), tight end Dwayne Allen (groin), running back Vick Ballard (knee) are expected back and would be good to go. “From all the reports that I’ve been getting from our trainers and from the doctors in the meetings we’ve had, everyone’s going in the right direction. We’re optimistic about everyone,” GM Ryan Grigson said.

Worth noting, Wayne usually spends his offseasons working out at his home in Miami. But due to his knee injury rehab, he’s been getting in plenty of work in Indianapolis. “Thanks to all the snow and bad weather we’ve had, he’s been spending more time in Indianapolis than usual,” HC Chuck Pagano joked on Friday afternoon. “He’s back in Florida now. But he’s working hard to get back. ...” Indeed, ESPN.com's Mike Wells reports that Wayne is determined to prove doubters wrong in returning from a torn ACL at the age of 35.
