The Packers have signed Hill. The transaction was announced Wednesday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.

Hill, a 5-10, 210-pound second-year player out of Missouri Western State, spent time on Green Bay’s practice squad and active roster in 2013, appearing in two games for the Packers. He was signed by Tampa Bay from Green Bay’s practice squad on Nov. 13 and went on to play in six games for the Buccaneers. Hill rushed for 23 yards on nine carries (2.6 avg.) and caught two passes for 23 yards (11.5 avg.) for Tampa Bay. He originally entered the NFL as a non-drafted free agent with San Diego and played in all four preseason contests for the Chargers in 2013.
