The Bears on Thursday re-signed Rosario, a veteran tight end, to a one-year contract, the team announced.

They still are expected to seek a tight end, likely in the later rounds of the draft or a priority undrafted free agent, to complement first-stringer Martellus Bennett. Rosario, 29, had only one reception last season for 13 yards. And the Bears frequently used a sixth offensive lineman, tackle Eben Britton, as an extra blocker after Bennett suffered a shoulder injury early last season.
