The Facts:
Robinson [will be] given ample opportunities this preseason to prove he can be an NFL running back and not a guy who is popular among the fans (he runs fast) as well as opponents (doesn’t scare them).

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
This according to Times-Union staffer Ryan O'Halloran, who isn't sure Robinson can contribute. Per O'Halloran, "He simply doesn’t do one thing (return game, receiver, running back and wildcat guy) well enough. ..." Still, the Jaguars hope he has an impact in the running back rotation. “I’m intrigued to see,” HC Gus Bradley said last week. Robinson’s name came up when Bradley mentioned him as being a player the Jaguars are interested in seeing more from this year. When O'Halloran suggested to Bradley that the Jaguars already have a “gimmick guy” who lines up at different parts of the formation — Ace Sanders, the coach disagreed. “I don’t think [Robinson] is a gimmick guy,” Bradley countered. “He can maybe run outside zone and get to the point where he runs north. But how can you tell off 10 runs?” Robinson had 20 carries for 66 yards last year, and he may get that in the preseason to earn his keep.
