The Facts:
There's an opinion among some in the Eagles organization that Jackson's personality is not a great fit with the locker room culture that Chip Kelly is trying to cultivate, and the Eagles could be open to trading him. According to Inquirer staffer Jimmy Kempski, the Eagles are not going to shop Jackson. However, if another team came calling, Kempski adds, "the Eagles certainly wouldn't laugh and hang up. ..."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Kempski went on to suggest the Eagles' actions over the last few days back that sentiment -- re-signing both Riley Cooper (
to a five-year deal) and Jeremy Maclin (
to a one-year contract). But as noted in the previous item, the
Eagles are looking to emulate Denver's offense; that being the case, the more weapons the merrier. And as Kempski points out, Jackson stretches the field both vertically and horizontally, and his mere presence on the field will often keep a safety shaded to his side and out of the box. That does wonders for the rushing attack, which ranked first in the NFL in rushing yards. It's also worth noting that Jackson had his best season as a pro in 2013, when he caught 82 passes for 1332 yards and 9 TDs. And while Jackson hinted after the season that
he might want a new deal (something
unlikely to happen), we haven't heard him say much about that since. ... We'll watch this one, but we're not expecting much to materialize.
