The move comes as no surprise. The Eagles are set at their top three receiving spots with DeSean Jackson, Riley Cooper and Jeremy Maclin. Avant played his first eight NFL seasons in Philadelphia and ranks 11th in team history with 297 receptions for 3,646 yards and 12 touchdowns. He'll likely draw interest as a free agent.
