The Facts:
Thanks to a sore left foot, Taylor's status for the regular-season opener has been in question since coach Jack Del Rio announced Monday that Taylor would sit out the two remaining preseason games. Asked if he'll be ready, for the Sept. 12 tilt against the Bills, Taylor said: "You better believe I'm going to be back for the opener. Wild horses couldn't hold me back from that one."

Good news. ... For what it's worth, Taylor missed most of the preseason last year after suffering a leg injury during training camp, but returned in time for the opener and played through the season without difficulty.
