James Jones Wants To Be A Packer; Has An Eye On Indy, San Diego As Possible Fallbacks
(3/4 8:17 PT)

The Facts:
Following up on the ongoing story. ... Jones doesn't want to leave the Packers. It just remains unclear if he has a choice in the matter. "Honestly, I feel that there is a chance that I can be back and then I honestly feel that there's a chance that I can't," Jones said Tuesdays. "This is the time where you just kind of wish that something would happen so you can know where you're going." Reported by NFL.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Most of the football world believes Jones won't be back with Green Bay in 2014. While the team has talked extension with Jordy Nelson, and the coach has sung the praises of Jarrett Boykin, Jones has heard nothing. His agent told a local paper that GM Ted Thompson didn't want his client, though Jones dismisses that as a reporter twisting words. Despite his desire to remain a Packer, Jones has taken a glance around the NFL landscape for teams in need of wide receiver help. "I've thought about places that I would like to go play, whether it's in Indy or there's coming back home, San Diego or somewhere. Teams have popped up in my head. I can't say I haven't thought about it, but in a perfect world I'd love to go back (to Green Bay). ..." As NFL.com's Dan Hanzus suggests, if the Packers don't want him, somebody will.
