Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
This after the team also worked outy new three-year deals with safety Troy Polamalu and tight end Heath Miller, keeping the key veterans under contract through 2016 while gaining some much-needed salary cap space. Those two deals cleared close to $8 million, so Brown's new deal makes that $12 million. To save additional salary-cap room, the Steelers also released tackle Levi Brown, cornerback Curtis Brown and linebacker Larry Foote. ... The new deal does nothing to change Brown's role as the team's leading downfield threat.
